World Music Development is proud to announce that Founder and CEO Saam Golgoon, along with Shawn Satterfield Founder and Executive Director at Shine Music, have officially completed their Master Conductologist training and have received certification through Conductology.
This milestone marks the formal introduction of Conductology into North America at the Master level, positioning World Music Development and Shine Music at the forefront of an innovative global movement in inclusive, high-quality music creation.
Conductology is a scientifically researched universal gesture language used in real-time music creation and performance. Through structured hand signals and embodied leadership, participants collaboratively compose and perform music instantly.
No prior musical training is required.
The system has been proven to:
Progress a wide range of cognitive and interpersonal skills
Foster connection and trust in group environments
Create high-quality musical output
Increase accessibility for individuals of all abilities
Conductology is designed for schools, festivals, community programs, and organizations seeking inclusive, transformative music experiences.
For more than three decades, Saam Golgoon’s work has centered on the power of music to connect, empower, and transform lives. From large-scale music festivals to nonprofit leadership, municipal governance, and community development, his career has consistently bridged artistic vision with grounded leadership.
Becoming a Master Conductologist represents a natural evolution of that work.
“This training stretched me,” Saam shares. “Conductology is not simply about conducting music. It’s about facilitating connection in real time. It’s about presence, leadership, and trust. It proves that high-quality music creation is accessible to everyone regardless of experience or ability.”
Through this certification, World Music Development expands its capacity to:
Deepen inclusive music programming
Serve individuals with additional needs
Provide research-backed educational experiences
Strengthen artist development initiatives
Advance our Five Pillars of Peace through participatory music
With this master certification now complete, World Music Development will begin introducing and developing Conductology programming across North America.
This includes:
Educational workshops in schools and colleges
Community-based music initiatives
Festival integrations
Leadership training
Inclusive arts programming
This work aligns directly with World Music Development’s mission to foster peace and community enrichment through music.
The vision is simple yet transformative:
Music for all.
Schools, colleges, and communities across the globe are actively joining the Conductology movement. Now, North America officially joins that expansion at the Master level.
World Music Development is honored to partner in bringing this methodology forward not as a trend, but as a long-term, research-based model for inclusive, high-quality music creation.
Will you be part of this global movement and see the world transform for the better?

Is real peace just the absence of war? Can real peace exist without proper education in a community? Can real peace exist without proper nutrition in a community? Can real peace exist without proper housing in a community? Can real peace exist without proper health care in a community? And, can real peace exist without a good economy in a community? We think not!
Uniting the world through music.
